About the Designer
Shelle Hendrix Cain has been crocheting and knitting for over 35 years. Her designs have been published in various crochet magazines, and in 4 leaflets by Leisure Arts, Inc. released in 2006. The mother of two grown daughters and 4 beautiful grand-children, Shelle and her husband, Dennis, share their home with 5 dogs, 1 cat, and an African Grey Parrot who barks, meows, and generally entertains with her vast vocabulary and immitations.
Shelle enjoys crocheting, knitting, cross-stitch, sewing, reading, drawing, painting, and riding along in the golf cart, crocheting, while Dennis golfs!
She also enjoys teaching others to crochet and knit.

Shelle (Shelleden) is a member of several internet crochet groups, including Crochetville and Crochet Maniacs, and enjoys cyber-friendship with many fellow crocheters.
